Has anyone had success applying for an LOC since the recent changes?

Post by thecreativespirit » Mon, 18 Oct 2021 11:31 am

Hello all: Quick question about the new Letter of Consent (LOC) regulations that came out in March this year. Has anyone on a DP attempted (with any success) to apply under the new regulations - as an owner and director of a business?
Any recommendations welcome here.

Thanks.

No it anecdotally its a shit storm
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

If the work is offshore or at home, I would probably do it until told that you cannot do it.
