Singapore citizenship approval waiting time and likelihood

Hi guys,

What are my chances in getting SC approved?

Malaysian chinese. Early 30s male. Applied with wife. Both of us came to Singapore in 2016 and works in IT.
PR since Dec 2018. Applied for SC in Dec 20.
Annual combined income ~$199k.

Since i applied as soon as my PR reached 2 years, I am quite worried.

Any idea what is the usual waiting time? A few acquaintances who applied around the same time has gotten their approval...

Approval pretty much assured. Length of time? How long is a piece of string. Patience, my friend, is a virtue. With covid any answer we give regarding length of time is likely to be incorrect.

Not sure he’ll be back, it’s been months and he hasn’t made a post since. Probably should have heard back by now though.
