Hi Guys

My husband and I recently applied for PR (2nd attempt) and received the rejection letter in exactly 4 months and we wanted to check if anyone has any insight on the rejection letter we received.

Details - we're both aged 33, nationality - Indian, education level - Bachelors degree and we both work in international banks at senior positions.
Lived in Singapore for over 10 years now.
Combined household income of approx. 275k (excluding bonus)
We currently have no kids.

The letter we received this time from ICA is different from our previous rejection. Just wanted to check if anyone has received this and if anyone has any insights on what this might mean.

"Thank you for your interest in Singapore Permanent Residence (PR)
2. We have evaluated your application carefully, taking into consideration all the documents you have submitted. However, we regret to inform you that your application is not successful.
3. You may submit an application again if there is change in your circumstances (from the information you provided in this application). Nevertheless, you and your wife can continue to reside here on your respective valid passes."

Any insight would be much appreciated!

What are your exact educational qualifications and what are your occupations?
What is the salary of the Main applicant?

It sounds like the standard template reworded. But essentially means the same - generic and no insights can be had from it. It means "please don't apply unless there is a change in the details you supplied during your unsuccessful application - you can continue staying in Singapore as long as you have a valid work pass".

I received the same outcome 3 times in the past while applying for a mare LTVP over a period of 1 year and I was married to a singaporean citizen for more than a year. But we didn’t have a child then.
Once our first kid was born, we applied the very next day after getting our Sg child certificate and it took just one week for the approval to come through.
I will say, if you are planning to have a child, do that first and then apply again as a family. Since ICA see you both as very young adults than can boost the population of Singapore 😅. Give them what they want and they will give you what you want 😂
Good luck.

It is not really the boost to the population that gave the approval, it was the proof of stability of marriage. Just my view.
