Would you consider a late November trip from Singapore to Germany to view the Christmas Markets? Are they happening in 2021 with Covid 19? What restrictions would be in place? What is your favorite Christmas Market?

I do not know what a Christmas market is but the relaxed travel restrictions to some countries is interesting and many of those with cabin fever will go. I personally think that the multiple testing requirements are still a burden during travelling.

As part of the new travel bubble, residents will be able to travel to Germany, Brunei, and Hong Kong quarantine free. This takes away quite a bit of hassle (and cost) making it much easier to travel.

I’m planning to travel at the end of the year if I get the chance, obviously this is subject to the situation at that time so its too early to say for now.

I'll book if it looks a bit better than now, as in options for destinations without 14 day SHN. Might even do Germany if nothing better opens as an option.

Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong and a couple other places no longer require the 14 day quarantine. Just a PCR test upon arrival.

You also have to look about getting into the other country. Haven't checked about HK or Macau, but Taiwan was on my mind, but can't get there without a quarantine period, same with NZ. Therefore not realistic holiday destinations.

Just guessing here but I think travel in and out of Singapore 4th quarter is going to be about the haves and have nots.
Have quarantine for the route you want or no quarantine the.whole way. The have nots are going to be few and I am sure ticket costs will be high.

if I’m not mistaken Singapore is looking into establishing travel bubbles with these places which will make entering and exiting easy and hassle free.

I don’t think ticket prices are the concern it’s more about whether or not the restrictions allow for travel in the first place.

Case numbers in Singapore seem to be going up. Not sure how long this Green Lane or others from Changi Airport will be operating by 4th quarter 2021.
