working under LTVP for foreign company

Dear Forum-Members,

I tried to find the answer to my question in this forum myself but found different answers and pretty old ones.

I would like to know

• whether it is possible for an LTVP-Holder (from ICA) to work remote in Singapore for an employer in Germany with no presence/clients in Singapore.

• Are there tax implications in SG (paid in Germany)

• Are there any restrictions on the time frame permissible to work in Singapore?

Any advise would be highly appreciated.

With regard to your tax situation in Germany: In general, personal earned income is taxed in the country in which you live and work. There are exceptions, the USA, for example. You need to check with the German version of the IRS, and you should check for tax treaties between Singapore and Germany.
