To engage immigration services for SG citizenship application?

Post by k_k1337 » Sun, 08 Aug 2021 12:16 pm

Hi guys,

I been a PR since 2013 and went back to Msia to further my studies before start to work back in SG in 2020. Salary above 6k.

I want to check if anyone have any recommendation of engaging any citizenship service in SG? Would they increase your chances? I'm wondering should I pay the almost 4k agent fees.

Thanks.

If anything it may well decrease your chances, as the forms are so simple to fill out than any N level holder can do it. The consultancies can only put down in the fields (limits on imput) the information YOU give them. So unless you do not now how to use a PC, you shouldn't be qualified to apply, let alone get approved. Save your money. Got question, search our archives, the search engine is a good one. Or if you still cannot find an answer, ask us. Somebody, in all probability, has already been there, done that. And no, you cannot send them a BS cover letter. They already know 90% is inflated garbage. They've received 100's of thousands of applications if not over 1M.

If you are successful, without wasting your money, then you can take me out for a good meal or a good night on the piss for the friendly advice!

Engaging an agent will reduce your chances.
The archives here are worth more than 4K.

Thank you, lot286 ! I'm a cantankerous old coot, but with a good heart. That's why I always shoot straight and not mince words, but have been on this board since 2004. Paying it forward is what this world is all about. I like having long staying regulars, like yourself, stick around doing the same. Makes it all worthwhile.
