4 more months plus to 2022
How has your 2021 been so far? It's almost another year and Covid year..

Just like 2020 except I'm fully vaxxed. Otherwise, nothing has changed except my wife's dementia is worse as expected.

It’s been good, all things considered. A lot to be thankful for.
Overall, I’d say net positive.

Is it possible to stop dementia or at least slow it down?sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Sat, 07 Aug 2021 4:15 pmOtherwise, nothing has changed except my wife's dementia is worse as expected.
The other day I saw a video in a CC while waiting for my jab. It was about a woman being unable to find her flat. And then the husband came to her and said, "Honey, it's not even our block." Maybe you even saw it in your CC too.
So touchy, so terrifying.

Has only happened once about 6 months ago when she went to her daughters flat and missed the bus stop, got down and couldn't find her way back or her daughter's flat. My helper went and got her. Since then, we don't let her go out alone except to the mailbox in the lift lobby. But we are keeping an eye open there as well. Sadly, her knees are crook so she can't walk too far anyway. (maybe a short-term blessing in disguise, but a long-term headache).
