Hotels with low rates in Singapore?

Post by Tai » Sun, 27 Mar 2005 11:31 pm

Hi everyone,

My friend is coming to Singapore in early May and staying for five days. He wants me to recommend a hotel or hostel with low rates since his budget is limited. Any body who knows, please help.

Thank you.

Thank you very much.

He said he is coming w his girlfriend so I think Geylang does not sound a good street but Little India and Bugis sound suitable.

Will need to come and check some day.

Hotel 81's are pretty good value and Singaporeans love them (plus english language working mother students from China  )

Hotel Stay

Well, the Strand hotel along Jalan Besar would be ideal. (opp side of Little India)Its something like SGD50/day. Theres a 'kopitiam' across the road as well as a seven eleven.

If back-packing helps, then there's one along Dunlop Street, Little India area too that goes for something like SGD$16/day. Its called the Prince of Wales (POW). Madras street in along Dunlop street itself has a hotel thats at SGD40. Plenty of eateries ...

for low rates, think Hotel 81 is good.
Cheap, yet nice rooms.
