Hi may I know what's your update as I also have my PR approved for less than 2 years ago (I also got approved with first application). I was disallowed to access the Singapore Citizenship application form few months back, but today, I am allowed to access the application form and to submit the citizenship application.

As I really keen to apply for citizenship in view of my current undergraduate study in NUS (where fees are doubled of the citizens) and keen for the 20% CPF deduction in view of my upcoming BTO completion in 2-3 years time. Besides, I am marrying a Singapore Citizen this coming December, and planning to get pregnant by next year. :D

Quick update: still pending.

I’m still hoping that I’ve a chance but I guess at this stage it’s highly unlikely?

Good luck to everyone else who is also waiting!

Just sharing my position, it has been 16 months and counting for me.

My profiles, earnings, skill expertise and length of stay in SG is no where close compared to you. Albeit I’m Malaysian Chinese.

So I guess may luck be in the air for all of us. Cheers!

Wow... didn’t expect could wait up to 2 years now. My second application was approved within 2 months after I have ORD and finished my degree this year. First application was rejected when I’m serving NS.

ORD is the main factor that helped the application.
