Submission of Additional Document Advise

Post by thefinestpiece » Fri, 16 Jul 2021 10:47 pm

Hi guys! I've recently received an e-mail from ICA requiring a couple of document. One of them is submitting an Employment Pass. Here's the head scratcher. I'm holding an S Pass and for 2 years and recently gotten it renewed until 2024. Are they specifically looking for EPass or any type of pass, in this case my S Pass? Also, should I submit my latest in-principle application of my S Pass to ICA as well?

I don't know why they are asking for my pass since I've submitted it in the initial PR Application submission.

You have answered your question. They probably asked because the existing S pass expired during review and maybe ICA finds its easier to ask you to furnish new one , rather than hunt in their own system . If you don’t have it at hand then pass them
IPA and let them know you will share copy of the card as soon as you have it .
S pass is acceptable to apply for Pr so you should submit it. No reason to overthink.

That make sense. I do have my existing card with me. I want to point out that my HR informed me MOM no longer issue new card for S Pass renewal so I'll just submit the current card along with the IPA.

Just to play it safe because the current card I'm holding onto have my old employee's name. It's a little complicated and cumbersome to explain but all in all everyone in the old company have been transferred over to the new employee with the help of MOM. So everyone before the transfer are stuck with their old cards.
