PR application - Main applicant?

We are a mixed couple.
(a) Applicant 1
Race Indian citizenship Indian
Job - Fund Management (own the company, main fund manager) licensed by MAS.
(b) Applicant 2 (Spouse)
Race Caucasian citizenship American
Job - Trading company (own the business)

Kids - 2 citizenship American

Reason for PR is stability for the businesses. We are both Ivy educated, high earning, own our businesses.

I am debating as to who should be the main applicant for the PR given race and other quotas?

I don't think it matters tbh since both of you are equally qualified (assuming also that your length of stay are the same).

Age - late 40s so that’s a negative for both
Kids - 2 included
Length of stay - applicant 1 -3 yrs EP, applicant 2 - 1 yr EP
