Isn't there minimal source of income for them since tickets make the most money?

Oh there will be spectators... but dead in their coffins or watching from their ICU rooms. Japan SHOULD have cancelled for 2 years.

They were very adamant for having spectators. I have to agree they should have just cancelled it.

Not sure if Tokyo can share in the TV revenues and sponsorship.

I put the blame on the IOC leadership rather than Japan. At least Japan had the guts to call a state of emergency for Tokyo.

Exactly, they are in no shape to host such a large scale event.
