Hi all
I am in the midst of hiring FDW from Philippines and was told yesterday that there’s a MOM Pilot
Project which is only offered to Sporean family entitled to levy subsidy.
The Pilot Program requires additional costs which the FDW will serve 14 days shn in source country and 14 days shn in Singapore.
Would like to know if anyone have heard of this and whether this is legitimate? I have called MOM and the officer told me that there’s no news on this and to wait for their website announcement.

Pilot project for FDW?
Re: Pilot project for FDW?
Very few Sporeans here. Go to hardwareforum or something like that.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

At this point in time it is only a talking point in chambers between the various concerned ministries and industry leaders. Nothing concrete yet. Please do not make plans or bank on this happening in any sort of schedule. Here, directions change like the weather.

Re: Pilot project for FDW?
Not sure if u found out more details about this already. I just got in touch w the agency that i’m using regarding this and was given a shocker. This program has been halted in Indonesia and a raid was carried out because the program was not approved by the Indonesian government in the first place. This is certainly not reported by ST. This program was touted as a way out for desperate employers but apparently, failure to execute has been swept under. Not sure about the one in Philippines though.
