Hi,
I worked in Singapore on EP in IT field from 2008 to mid 2018. Then left job due to personal reasons and since then has been on DP. I again worked for 10 months in 2020 but on DP and with less salary than previously on EP. Now I've been selected for a job but EA offering work pass (not S-Pass) that will be linked to my spouse EP rather than an EP for myself. The agency is though offering the salary (25% higher than previously on EP) that meets SAT tool EP salary requirement for my experience. The selected job is related to my past experience, however I have below questions
1. Will working on work pass jeopardize my chances of getting an EP later in future? How it would be viewed by future employers?
OR
2. Is it better to take the offer even though on work pass as the salary offered is meeting the SAT tool since prospective employers offer salary comparative to the last drawn?
Thanks in advance for your advise.

There are some IT contractors who actually augment the IT workforce with lot of DPs. Recently some of these DPs have been offered by them to work under work permit (which is what i reckon you're referring to as work pass) because work permits are issued even for "highly skilled" such as you but the levy would be much higher around SGD 800.
I don't think it would jeopardize your EP application in future because such companies are just tapping Work Permits issued by MoM for DPs who have already been working with an LOC.
