Marina Bay is a nice option. Outdoors, beautiful, and you’ve got Satay by the bay if you get hungry!

Parks?
You’d be surprised actually. Most of the times I’ve visited a park, it has been so crowded. And most of the people there are not wearing masks, under the excuse of “exercising”.

Hmmm yes possibly. I mostly go to parks to exercise after 10pm! That probably gives me the false sense that they are mostly not crowded.

Of course at those hours I wouldn’t expect to see anyone there. The times I’ve been, whether in the morning or evening, it’s been pretty packed.

If I’m not mistaken most of the beaches and public areas there now require booking so the crowd should be more manageable, however I’m pretty sure it’s still as full as it (legally) can be.

Try Gullane Village and the over to Horti Park
The extreme ends of parks usually seem quieter.

Gillman.
Also the Portsdown Rd Black and White area and the Milkbar (Colman) are usually ok. You can walk through to the green corridor as well.

I climb Bukit Timah Hill two or three times a week nowadays, it’s open from 7 to 7 but it’s crowded all the time and no one is ever wearing a mask because the regulations allow you to go mask free. So not a great idea for anyone trying to avoid crowds.

The Green corridor is a great idea for anyone looking to explore nature. About a week ago I walked 12 km from the Bukit Timah Hill summit to Woodlands. It was exhausting but very beautiful.

If you really want to escape human contact, go up to Sembawang and walk the sleepy streets where the US Navy (former British) barracks are located. When I go there, I usually start my walk at King’s Avenue off Admiralty Road East… you will be lucky to encounter another soul.

I agree, was there 3-4 months back and couldn’t believe how crowded it was. Everybody and their uncle seemed to be there.
The Green (Railway) Corridor has suffered a similar fate in recent months after the papers promoted the opening of new sections. Many who are desperate to leave the confines of their homes have come out en mass, though it seems to have eased a bit when I was there last weekend.
