I heard some are already vaccinated...

When my daughter (17) went to get vaccinated around a week ago, she said that majority of those there were FDW, very few were from her age group.

Mine's been registered for a couple of weeks, but I think priority is being dealt out like it is was for locals, in age brackets. My helper has a couple of older burmese FDW friends who have already gotten theirs, but my helper in only in her mid 30's so is still waiting. I think the tipping point might be 40+ in May.

Oic, so i think that's the reason why..my helper's cousin got vaccinated perhaps because she's in her 40s. while mine is still in waitlist.

Glad that they're vaccinated slowly but surely... at times they hang around quite often during their off days.

Ours got vaccinated in April May, a few weeks after myself. She's 47, so got her shots in same age group as myself. I don't think there is any difference or discrimination in vaccination policy, all residents in Singapore got the same chance to get vaccinated, but it's up to them to register.

Those aged 12-39 could register to get vaccinated starting 11th June. With this age group, the government has opened up registration to all eligible individuals.

Those aged 12-39 could register for the vaccine on 11th June, you pr helper should be no exception, don’t see why she would be on the waitlist.

It’s so important that they get vaccinated ASAP, particularly because the congregate in large groups during off-days. I’m sure this is less prevalent now with the imposition of new restrictions but the risk of inter-mingling is still very high.

That’s one thing I really appreciate- everyone receives the vaccine regardless of race, status, or income.

The only thing that makes me slightly anxious is that they lengthened the time between each jab, now the time between each jab is 6-8 instead of 3 weeks. Although I guess it’s important they did this so more people could receive their first jab.

Because the latest set of registrations (12-39 year olds) is for Singapore Citizens. PR and pass holders in this age range will have to wait a couple of weeks before they can register.

I see, I didn’t realize this. I thought that the registration was open to everyone, as it had been in previous rounds.

It's like everything else the Government's done in the past 1.5 years. They've become like the weather. You don't like it or you do like it, no matter, it will change in a hour or so. The Gov't is currently like a lost ball in high weeds, in my opinion.
