Is it true that EP renewal is being rejected more often nowadays 2021 ?

Nothing like that. As long as the criteria is met, should be ok. yes. it's very hard to get an EP for candidate outside singapore.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

Not sure if this info helps any one but just posting here:
My EP (Renewal) was applied on 17th May 2021 and got the approval on 27th May morning. Overall 7 working days for the processing.

My EP renewal was applied on 28/05/2021 and it was approved on 05/06/2021.
