Is there any way to prevent ants from getting into the water jugs?

saran wrap? I really don't know as I've never seen any ants in our water jugs, but then again, I keep them in the fridge.

This is a problem with my nespresso machine. The water container attracts ants. Sometimes i am too lazy to check and probably drank my coffee with the added "protein".

Hahaha, scientists are saying ants and other insects are a sustainable proteins source for the future. Make sure the container is clean and you don’t leave stagnant water.

Anybody remember the movie (1973) starring Steve McQueen as Henri Charrière ("Papillon"). It was a documented fact that Henri Charrière survived Devil's Island by eating cockroaches (which are 90% pure protein).

I've been eating crisp-fried mealworms off & on as a snack if I see them. I've also tried most of the edible "snacks" in Thailand as well, but most only when drunk on Mekong Whiskey. LOL

I had the chance to try crickets and tarantulas when I was in Cambodia a couple years back. Passed on it at the time because it freaked me out, but if I’m ever back I’ll definitely give it a go.
