Hi all,
I am writing on behalf of my wife. She applied for her PR in June 2019 and is still pending as I type this message. It’s been 22 months already. I have never seen anyone waiting for PR result this long.
Her profile:
Age - 30
UG - B.Tech Biotechnology from India
PhD - NUS (2013 - 2017) direct PhD
Job - One of the leading research labs in Singapore
Salary - 85k ++
Marital status - Married
Pass type - E pass
PR application date - June 2019
My Profile:
Age - 30
UG - Engineering from India
PG - MBA from a leading b-school in India
Job - working with a top engineering company in Singapore as a BDM since Nov 2019
Salary - 60k
Marital status - Married
Pass type - S pass
PR application date - Feb 2021
We both applied for our PRs separately.
What are our chances of getting a Singapore PR? We are also confused why is it taking so long to get a result (be it positive or negative). Why is it on hold for so long? We are clueless. Can someone advice what could be done here?

22 months is indeed a long time, average I read here is about 1 year on average or less.

If you search other parts of the forum, you’ll find your answer:

We've seen several cases here of application hitting 23 months. Some had approvals, some had rejections. Length of time is immaterial for the success/failure of an application. All you can do it buy your ticket and pray. As long as you are showing up a pending, it's not over yet.

It could also be due to the fact that your subsequent application complicated hers. It may have meant that you're both part of a "joint" application, and thus the timer has reset.

She may get it 40% chance. Yours will likely be very low chance as you are applying from S Pass, ethnicity, salary level slightly low, etc.

Why is it difficult when applied from an S pass holder? Any particular reason?

Because S Pass issuance criteria like education, salary are less than that of employment pass?

Hi all!
Both me and my wife got our PR approved today!
Looks like ICA has linked both of our applications after I applied in Feb. My wife and I got our results exactly after 29 and 9 months respectively!
Thank you all for your advice and support!
