Applying PR while on MOE bond

Hi, I am Malaysian currently holding on S-Pass in Singapore, a graduate from local(SG) poly. I am actually seeking to pursue to local uni but the school fees are seriously too high. On the other hand, school fees for PR are almost halve of what a foreign student have to pay. Hence, this became a catalyst to me to apply for PR (I already have thoughts of doing so when I was still studying it but I didnt and I regretted it. and I plan to stay long term here in Singapore )

Brief info of me
Age : 22
Race : Chinese
Nationality : Malaysian.
Living in SG: Been here for at least 3.5 years.
Company working for: At least 300-500 people or more and currently working here. (dk if this will affect the success rate of the application but I still put it here for everybody's reference)
Qualification : Dip in IT from local poly. (currently seeking to pursue local uni degree)

+ I am currently on MOE bonds which needs me to work in SG for 3 years in local company.

Does anyone know the chances of me getting my PR application approved? No bashing please. Thank you!

Age is good and your race has the largest acceptance quota, so I’d say you stand a fair chance like anyone else.

We also recently had an Indonesian Chinese girl with only a Poly Diploma who gained her PR. so give it a try.

Good to know I've seen a few of my colleagues who have been here for years and got rejected multiple times. Very curious of the selection criteria of PR applicant. Hmmm. Will be applying next month. Hehe

Today exactly on 7th march 2022, my PR application has been approved. After reading so many posts and information by SMS, I truly appreciate the effort placed by SMS into replying almost to everyone!

I would like like contribute back to this community by adding a data point! My details are almost exactly the same as I initially posted, other than a pay raise by almost 40%.

I checked everyday so I knew exactly when the button went missing haha. It was on 23rd February 2022. I heard that it was an indicator that the application is in final stage of processing.

+psps upon checking again, it was 20/6/2021 that I applied my PR application.
