Do residents need to register their travels with the government?
Hi everyone. I’m asking because my father will be making a trip back to Miami in June to visit his mother. She recently had a very bad fall, and we are all worried about her recovery. My dad in particular is worried that she may not have much time left, so he is making the trip to see her and make sure she is taken care of, since she lives alone (she’s in the hospital now). Does he need to register his trip with the government so they can make plans for his quarantine when he returns? He is a PR, although I don’t think that matters. Thanks!

Just an update for anyone reading this, I found out that you do not need to register your travels with the government. Once you return to Singapore, they automatically make quarantine arrangements for you.

I think that is only for Citizen's and PRs, and their close family or something like that.
I recall that EPs and other WPs need to get a permit to get back to Singapore.
