Which bank?

Post by teov » Fri, 25 Mar 2005 12:48 am

I will be moving to Singapore soon and will need to open a local bank account. (current account)
I will need ATM / debit card, credit card, domestic and (some) international payments. Will be travelling a lot in the region and around the world, so cheap international ATM withdrawals are important.
Any advice which bank would be best?

I don't like DBS bank as there are always a long queue to the withdrawing machines. I like UOB or OCBC bank as I find that they have more service machines. If you like the convenience and less queue, go for it.

However, it really depends where you stay and best to take a day to observe and look for a bank that is most accessible and convenient.
