Hi all,
I would like to get your opinion or suggestions about my situation. I have applied PR for my wife and kids last Aug 2020. Unfortunately, got rejected last March 2021. I am planning to apply SC together with my wife and kids. Should i apply with my kids only? or kids plus wife? Because someone told me that because my wife is not a PR chances are not good. What will be the chances of getting SC approved? Thank you.

You can not apply for SC for wife as your wife is not a PR but you can apply for SC for your kid.

If I were you, I would apply SG citizenship for yourself and your children and at the same time apply PR for your wife. That will send a strong message you are here to stay and your children will serve there NS without issues.
If you get the citizenship and your wife gets PR, you can apply for her for her as well after few years. Good luck

thanks SBK and bro75 for your advice.
Is it ok that i apply SC now even though my PR application for the family was just recently rejected?
Or should i wait for a couple of months before applying for SC. Thanks

We can not really tell the chances of approval. The process is opaque but because you are Pinoys, the chances are always lower than if you were Malaysian. In your case, just apply, the process will take about 1 to 2 years before you get any result.
