LTVP Process and converting SPass to PLOC

Post by hellogoodbyee » Tue, 13 Apr 2021 8:25 pm

Hi all, we've gotten the in-principle approval, just submitted medicals and now waiting for the next step. Does anyone know if they send any notification that PLOC is approved as well? All I see is that the LTVP is IPA.

Also, my partner is holding SPass currently. Do we need to do anything to convert his pass to PLOC? Will his SPass be cancelled automatically, and would he need to take leave away from work while his HR updates his employment info?

Timeline:
22 March: Submitted application, but I screwed up. ](*,) Please check all your info and attachments are correct before clicking Next! Otherwise you'll have to wait the full 7 days for the application to auto withdraw. No use calling or emailing ICA to help, you mess up, you wait.

30 March: Submitted successfully!

9 April: Received IPA (Pending medical check up and upload signed Terms and Conditions) I was expecting up to 6 weeks, but it only took a week if you discount the long PH weekend.

12 April: Went for check up

13 April: Submitted medical documents, now IPA (Documents submitted)
