Hi All,
I recently proposed to my gf, who is WP holder currently.
Did some research online for the correct processes but would like some verification over here if possible.
1) Apply for marriage approval with MOM
2) Apply for PMLA with ICA
3) After 1 & 2 approved, apply for ROM
4) After ROM, apply for LTVP/LTVP+ using LLE received from 2
Additional question - After receiving LTVP/LTVP+, does she need to update her employer to change her WP to a LOC? Or just wait for WP expiry then convert to LOC?
Thank you very much for the help in advance!

Doesn't matter, however, she might want to talk to her employer as see if she can get a reasonable bump in salary if she goes from WP to LoC. (Employer has to pay stiff levy for WPs - no levy for LoC holders) Help each other out, as it were.

Okay thank you! In terms of the process steps, those listed above should be the correct order right?

Need to check with employer first about the LoC vrs WP. She cannot be on a WP and an LTVP/LTVP+ at the same time. No rush. Do 1~3 first. After ROM then have her talk with employer. She can stay on WP until a decision is made.
