Please note we now have 4 active Board Moderators. After my discussions with the two candidates, I've put them forward for the post with their agreement, you will please note that as PNGMK & singaporeflyer have now been promoted as moderators, their nicks, like mine and x9200 will now show up as bold green print with moderator under their nicks. Additionally they are still regulars on the board and they will have their own way of signifying when they are using their moderator caps. I leave this up to them how they do it, but suffice it to say, they will also be posting in a regular members capacity as well. Please give them your help and support.

For those of you who want to know I was retrenched by an ass of an American company last week. I started yesterday back on the tools in Loyang and will go offshore. Hence I may have to recreate my old nick "offshoreoildude". SMS is laughing his head off at me but believe it or not the client wants an old, half deaf, half blind Aussie engineer!

The reason? I'm a Singapore PR and I can legally subcontract with no paperwork or previous approvals from MOM etc.
