Apply PR for spouse

Post by ruska » Mon, 29 Mar 2021 11:29 pm

Hello All

Need your help and advise here.
I have been thinking about this matter and weighing pros and cons of applying PR for my wife now. Is this the right time?

I have been PR since 2012 here, working since then and staying in my own condo.
I married my wife in 2019 and she is pregnant now.
My wife : came to Singapore in 2017 and worked under S pass. After marriage she is now working under LTVP (LOC)

We are both Indonesian Chinese
What is the chance of her PR approval? Is there anything that she currently lacks to be approved?

Thank you in advance. Cheers

60-70% of PRs granted goes to Chinese.
Make your own assumption about the chances.
I call it decent.

Depends on a lot of factors
Since you are the sponsor. They will consider mainly based on your
education, occupation, salary , ethnicity, contribution to SG and duration of stay in SG

+ duration of marriage
+ her education, salary, duration of stay in SG

Indonesian Chinese are not automatic shoe-ins but usually do ok.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
