Hi guys,
I am Vietnamese (graduated from a decent university in Australia) and plan to take a postdoc position in NTU, Singapore with a salary of SGD6,000.
Is it possible for my wife to get the dependent pass?
I know that the minimum salary requirement is SGD6,000 per month as indicated on MOM's website. However, my friend in Singapore told me that for Vietnamese, they may require a much higher salary. Is it true?
I would be very grateful if you guys can share your experiences.
Thank you very much.

Hi @singaporeflyer, I have tried the SAT, and I am eligible for the SP. To be able to get the EP, I need to earn at least 6,200 per month.
Thank you.

Yes. It is possible. But it is not guaranteed. You need to keep that in mind with the ever changing goalposts here. At the moment you can get a DP if you are holding an S pass but making at least $6K/mo.
