Rejection of EP Application due to experience certificate

Post by SuhasRao2304 » Mon, 22 Mar 2021 4:09 pm

Hi

I recently moved from India to Singapore searching for a job. My EP application has been filed by a prospective employer but the MOM has come back asking for experience letters of all my previous employers. The only problem is i have an ongoing dispute with one of my previous employers, back from 2021 (duration of employment 10 months), regarding the issue of a wrong relieving letter which resulted in me not supplying the required document to MOM. I've however given them the mail trail and the appointment letter to prove my case. My worry is will it be a big red flag for MOM or will they ignore this since it's long back and on the basis of supporting documents, approve my EP application?

You need to that cleared up. It will cause endless problems.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

All applications are on a case-by-case basis. I do know of a good HR consultant who may be able to help. I heard good feedback about them helping out with EP appeals. Let me know if you need any referral.
