Re: SMS from Amazon
NEVER open such texts. And if you already have, never click on the link. It’s a pretty well known scam for scammers to pose as large corporations. Once you click the link, they gain access to you device and your information. When in doubt, its best to contact amazon directly.

Re: SMS from Amazon
Were u using VPN. I do get it if Amazon thinks I am logging from outside SG
Re: SMS from Amazon
The mentioned scam is based on the Amazon practice to verify attempts to log in from different devices and sometime even browsers. Using vpn, not really from my experience.midlet2013 wrote: ↑Fri, 12 Mar 2021 1:03 pmWere u using VPN. I do get it if Amazon thinks I am logging from outside SG
I've never seen such request coming via SMS, but you can tell this is scam also by the wording - for example, genuine requests tend to be more descriptive and transparent.
In general never click any links related to any critical services you are subscribed to if you are not sure they point to the genuine sites. There are countless tutorials/handbooks how to tell what is a phishing email/sms and what is not and everybody should read them and learn.Amazon Logo Image
