I’m sure this goes without saying, but there really is no way to accurately estimate the chances of approval. I will say, however, that it probably helps a little that you both have received significant salary increases (although your salaries were relatively high to begin with). I don’t see what difference it would make if you made your husband the main applicant. The ICA never provides a reason for rejection, so in that sense it can be very difficult to improve you application since you don’t know what you are lacking. If you are serious about applying, you can consider engaging an immigration specialist to read and edit your application. They are supposed to maximize your chances, but I’m not sure if this is the case.

It’s not rocket science but I think educated folks should be able to roughly estimate the available set of places.

Koreans fall under the “Others” category.

It’s not impossible, but it’s just that many others in “Others” earn a tidy sum as well. So they need some edge elsewhere.

Finance is not seen as a essential job either.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
