I own quite a number of suede shoes and until very recently have not found an effective way to clean them. Suede looks great, but the problem is it tends to scuff rather easily. I recently read that using rubbing alcohol helps to take away any stuff marks or stains and evaporates such that it doesn’t taint the suede the way water does. I tried it, and it cleaned better than anything I’ve ever used before. Make sure to give it a try, let the shoes dry completely before using a dry brush to fluff out the suede, and they will look brand new!
