EP Processing Time Feb 2021 / Mar 2021
Re: EP Processing Time Feb 2021 / Mar 2021
Hi All
I have been reading the posts silently for a while. First of all thanks alot for sharing all the info. I would like to update my status.
EP applied: 15th March
Approved: 11th May
Took exact 8 weeks time. NO enquiry or ask of additional information from MOM during this period.
Few information I would like to share, the time differ with following factors:
1. If you are in Singapore or Outside
2. If it's a brand new pass or renewal or Job change
If you are outside of Singapore, with current covid situation the processing time will take longer as for few countries the border is closed completely. So even get EP, Pre-entry pass won't be given. So keep that in mind and read the guidance on MOM portal for more information:
https://www.mom.gov.sg/covid-19/entry-a ... quirements
If you never work in Singapore and it's a brand new EP the processing time is relatively longer not 3 weeks as they need to validate the documents, also they don't have any record in the system so need to work on that.
For me I am based in Mainland China and it's a brand new EP for me. So it took 8 weeks time. Hope my information will help.

Everydayisfriday wrote: ↑Sat, 01 May 2021 2:26 pmHi All: As an update, I got my new EP approved on 25 April (application submitted 5 April). Pretty much within the 3 week process time frame. I applied from outside Singapore and now making arrangements to start my new job in Singapore soon. Good luck to everyone else!

I am on STVP with three weeks left, so I am worried every single day.
Timeline is as follows:
15th Mar - EP submitted
7th Apr - MOM requested additional documents (Degree verification and latest tax assessment)
19th Apr - Requested documents submitted
3rd May - Agency called MOM and request to expedite
14th May - Agency called MOM again and request to expedite
Cyber security with 13 years of experience and 4 years in Singapore.
It is a great forum and I am grateful to the community. Thanks!

Approved on Thursday (10th June), almost 11 weeks. Hang in there folksLovetobeaPR wrote: ↑Tue, 20 Apr 2021 2:44 pmHi my EP application was submitted on 29th March and the status is still pending. The wait is killing me
Any idea when I should be really worried about the outcome? If a rejection is expected, would it have come by now? Yesterday was the 3 week mark

See folks, just like the case of the disappearing button. It signifies absolutely nothing other than you cannot submit any more paperwork. It is what it is. No reading between the lines necessary. But then again, this will pass over your heads like the proverbial lead balloon.

Hello everyone,
I just want to add on my EP application experience on this thread.
Applied on 10th September.
Approved on 21st September.
It took 8 working days. It is considered very fast based on what I've read on this thread but things to note: I have MOE tuition grant bond to serve and living in Singapore while waiting for my EP.
