Need some help...can an airfryer also make cakes or cupcakes?
Cupcakes should not be a problem. A regular cake, why not, as long as you manage to fit it in, but I would expect you may end up with rather hard dried skin on the cake exposed parts.
An airfryer is not that different from a standard forced convection oven, only it blows like hell, so anything loose or small enough will fly.
Like x9200 said, an air fryer is basically a convection oven. So baking cupcakes and cakes are all within its capabilities. The only issue is whether or not you’d be able to fit a cake into the frying cabin. Unless you have an exceptionally large fryer, I think only cupcakes would be possible.
