How many rejections before? Looks to be tough based on quota and salaries.

Yes basically a career up move or salary increase may help. What they are saying is if the salary or education does not change, the result will be the same.

Applying under spouse or self? Another curious question, is your son a PR?

Then, the next question would be, are you applying together with your son, or just only you alone?
If both are applying, the most probably your family need to improve on the financial stability factor.
If only you is applying, then most probably the gahmen is hinting you that you "forgot" to include him in the application, and they need him to be included...

I hardly think that including his son will change the outcome much. This category has way too many applicants and too few slots so it's hard to stand out. And also, you don't want to stand out too much till the extent where they think that the person will have plenty of opportunities elsewhere.
Of course, no harm in trying - better include his son or else there will definitely be no chance versus "some" chance.

I take Winch+ with a grain of salt. He's just regurgitating information from our archives and adding pretty words to make pretty sentences. But all the answer are already here. He's just being another parrot here but more long winded than I am, if that's possible.

Hi All,
I've submitted my PR application for 6 months now but would like your opinion to see if my chances are good.
Age: 25
Nationality/ Race: Malaysian Chinese (Female)
Education: Malaysia Diploma (aviation)
Occupation: Aerospace Technician
Salary: 30K exl bonus
Pass Type: S Pass
Years in Singapore : 4 years
Total years of work experience: 5 years
Felt like my chances are slim because of my low salary and qualifications.
And status is still under pending.
Thank you!

Still waiting on my PR application too. Submitted in Mar 2021 (almost 6 months). Wondering if anyone who applied around the same period (or even after) has received their outcome?
Age 25
Nationality: Malaysian Chinese Male
Education: Singapore Local Sec School + Local JC + NUS (also on a 3 Year MOE Tuition Bond)
Occupation: Graduate Analyst at a Bank
Salary: 70k excl bonus
Pass: Employment Pass
Years in Singapore: 11+ years
Total work experience: Applied slightly after my 6 month payslip. But currently more than a year of working experience
Would appreciate any help!
