Just adding a datapoint:

Age: 31
Nationality: Indonesian
Pass: EP
Salary: 106k
Occupation: Financial service, assistant manager level
Working in Singapore for 4 years prior to applying, but studying in Singapore from secondary school to university. Working abroad before finally starting working in Singapore.

PR applied in June 2020. Received an email from ICA to share a family CV in Sep 2021. The upload button disappeared soon after and finally, the status changed to "Approved" and I received the IPA in my letterbox in Oct 2021. Now doing the formalities.

I thought my chance was slim but quite happy with the outcome.

Congrats. It will be good if you don't duplicate post the same across multiple threads.

Did they notify you to send them specific docs? If not, you will not see any upload docs button.
Hi, I applied on 18 July 2021 and didn't login earlier. When I login to check, I see there is this option underneath the pending application, stating "Submit requested documents" meant for applicant/sponsor who has received email/ letter from ICA to submit documents and a button for me to "proceed to upload" . However I have not received any email nor letter at my mailbox asking for any additional documents. Would like to check if its normal to have this upload docs button? Or could I be missing email/letter from ICA? Tried calling ICA's hotline but can't get through their line. Any help is appreciated. Many thanks.

It is normal. If they need any additional documents from you they will email you or send a letter asking for it.

When the upload doc button disappeared, it will take 1-3weeks before your result is out

"Submit requested documents" means just that. Even if the button is there, it isn't an invitation to send them engraved prayer submission for success. It is there specifically for "requested" documents that "ICA" has or may request as they move along through the vetting of your applications. Once the know they have all the docs they need, the button disappears and as so many have found out, usually in a couple of weeks you will either sings praises or cry in your beer. The disappearance or reappearance of the button is not, in of itself, indicative of anything else. Using it to try to deluge them with other BS documents 'could' jeopardize your chances.

PR Approved 2022

Post by Joyce0987 » Sat, 08 Jan 2022 11:11 am

Sharing my profile as I have benefited from this forum.

Pr application date : 22.2.21
Pr approval date : 04.01.22 (Almost 11 month of waiting)
Age : 31
Nationality: Malaysian Chinese Female
Education: Degree in Public Uni in Malaysia (top 3)
Occupation: T.A. Executive
Salary : 48,000 per annum exc bonus
Pass: Employment Pass
Years in Singapore: 1.2 years

Total work experience: Applied after 7th month payslip because of salary increment in a new company. By the time of application, I had 1.2 years of work experience in SG.

While waiting for pr to be approved, I was married to an SC. Then, supplemented a marriage certificate, spouse’s educational cert, spouse’s letter of employment and spouse’s id.

Also, updated ICA on change of new passport and salary increment with annual salary totalling to 60k per annum exc bonus with change of title to Manager.

In addition to that, I met the mp to write a letter after 10th month of waiting. Also, I brought term life insurance. Not sure it helps.

Thank you.

Profile :- approaching middle age...from the West...
Pass :- EP then LTVP + LOC
Salary:- 150k+/year in practice but 59k/year using the “basic” definition. Changed employer whilst pending, which change it to 115k/year “basic”.
Industry:- Aviation
In Singapore :- 4 years at time of application
Education :- Masters

Applied via PTS initially, then after 11 months (during which I got married) I was invited to switch to Spouse-Sponsored scheme. Approved in-principal 1 month later.
[Had previously applied via PTS some years prior as well and that got rejected after 5 or 6 months].

The invitation to switch tracks came via email - and went into my junk folder! #-o So remember to check it before emptying!
