PR Approved 2021

Post by jaredyim95 » Tue, 02 Mar 2021 11:58 am

Hi,

Just checking if anyone applied their PR in August 2020 and got it approved? Thanks.

Regards
Jared

Unfortunately, OP neglected to tell us under which scheme he applied. I get the impression that he is a work pass holder and applying under the Professional/Technical Scheme. It doesn't sound like he applied using Family Ties which is decidedly easier.

If they are like the vast majority of information seekers trying to gain PR, then you will not get any responses as they have already gotten what they wanted and long gone. They won't show up again until they are ready to apply for SGC. It's sad, but not everybody believes in paying it forward.

Honestly? You may well not hear anything until the end of the year (if you are lucky). It's not uncommon to see posts where people have be waiting beyond 18 months and ultimately got approved/rejected - we've seen a number of both - the length of time waiting is not indicative of better chances of either, it is what it is.

Useful in reinforcing the belief that quotas are very much in place.
