Hi,
May I pls check any chances of our PR application if we apply this year.
My husband is S Pass holder and he is staying in SG since 12 years ago. He is Engineer and he earned SGD 72 K/year basic salary. My son is studying in Sec 4 in Singapore Government School and he is holding Student Pass.
My daughter & I are holding dependent pass and I'm working in Singapore's financial company.
Appreciate for your kind advices.
* we have applied 3 times and got rejected before.
Thanks,

The approval rates for Burmese are very low in my experience.

Why is your son studying on a Student's Visa?

You haven't answered my question. You don't answer a query with a question.

SGS2020, my mistake, sorry. OP sadly figured out that I may know the ruse they are apparently trying to pull on ICA (which isn't going to work, hence 3 rejections already). If he's applying for himself singly, then with the whole family here it's not likely to fly. If he's applying for the family and hasn't put his son on the application then it's not likely to fly either. If his daughter is on a DP why isn't the son also on a DP? Because they are trying to keep him out of the system so as to avoid NS in all probability? That is why my question in the first place. (I mistook your question as his as it is probably one he may also ask in order to deflect).

Sorry for the late reply.
I was EP holder when I joined first job in SG and my wife and my son were holding DP at that time. When my son in Primary 3, I changed the job and employer applied SP for me. So that we worried if my son cannot get DP anymore and it will make he cannot stay and study in SG. So we applied student pass for him.
My current job applied SP for me and my wife and my daughter got DP and my son still holding student pass. My wife & my daughter are currently in home country and my wife is working at Singapore company.
I will apply SG PR for the whole family. Any chances for us? Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir,
As mentioned in earlier texts, we really want my son school complete in Singapore. If we cannot get DP due to any policy or any unexpected issues, we are not sure how he can continue to study here. So we applied Student Pass for him. But we always apply SG PR application for the whole family. Thank you.
Please let me know if you have any comments.

In addition, my work pass is not stable so we applied student pass for my son. We really happy to allow him to join National Service and to contribute to Singapore Society as much as we can. Thank you.

I know of a couple of Myanmar Nationals who have gotten PR and one who received SGC last year (also an engineer). He had many rejections but continued to be persistent. He is also a long standing member of our Resident's Committee (how I know him). He probably been there as long as I have (12 years). I understand your situation re: EP->S pass and the DP problem. If your wife & daughter are currently in home country, how is she working for Singapore company? Or did she go back for visit and got caught up in the Covid mess and now your country's coup problem? I am also acutely aware of the problems there as I have a domestic helper from your country who was to leave during the Christmas holidays but, well, as you know.......
Persistence and patience is the only thing I can advise. Nationality wise is a problem for gaining PR here. Yes, it can be done, but it's an uphill climb.

Hello Sir,
Thanks for your kind advice. Yes, we have submitted again. My wife has been worked in SG with SP before and my daughter has been holding DP.
Then my wife got job offer from SG bank in Myanmar and she left from SP job. She is holding DP now. My wife and my daughter often fly back to SG before Covid and I wish to see them soon...
Thanks again for your time.
