EP Issuance

Post by Snowman1977 » Thu, 11 Feb 2021 6:30 am

Hi all,

My EP in principle approval letter has an expiry date of the 14th July before this i will need to serve 2 weeks SHN at a hotel.
My questions are:
Once i arrive my employer needs to apply for my EP to be issued, can this be done while i am completing my SHN as i will already have my immigration details?
Once the employer applies for the EP to be issued how long does the notification letter take to be produced?
If they decide i need to have any medical checks when am i informed of this and would this mean i am not able to get my notification letter until after i have completed the SHN?

Thanks in advance for your help!
James.

If this is helpful for anyone else MOM have confirmed the below:

"If the pass holder does not require to undergo medical examination, the EP can be issued while he is serving SHN.

Otherwise, the EP can only be issued after the SHN is completed as the system will prompt for the medical examination details."
