Hi everyone,
My application has been pending for 18 months++ (Jan 2022).
Noticed today that the buttons are missing. I am quite anxious as it has been a long wait. Will keep you guys updated.
My application has been pending since mid-May 2022. Noticed around 25 June 2023 that the buttons are missing. Not to read anything into tea leaves, except that there are 4 horizontal lines.
An approval would be a blessing and a relief, but am prepared for an adverse outcome as well. I have no intention to try to log into CPF and get a sneak peak at the result.
Only purpose of this message is that I will post when the result comes (irrespective of the outcome) so that others can have a data point on how long after the buttons goes missing does the outcome show.

Wow

More than six weeks of wait after disappearance of upload button. This is the longest wait I've read on this forum.

Maybe they should shorten the period to 7 days and if their questions haven't been answered, then let the protocol make the decision. Questions not answered in 7 days, reject. Fair right?

Hi, I applied PR for my burmese wife who has been in SG since 2017.
We are parents to 2 SG boys.
It's been almost 7 months since I applied for her PR.
Last week, ICA asked for her education docs to upload into the portal of which I have replied them thru email that I do not have them due to my spouse having no formal education.
They replied that I should still upload a signed letter stating that fact.
Interestingly though, as I was about to upload the letter today, the upload button has disappeared with 4 lines underneath so I couldnt even upload the letter.
More worrying for me is the fact that I just changed employment recently and wanted to upload the employment letter from my new employer and I could not do that as well. Not much change in salary from old job to new job.
If (luckily) I get the PR approval, will that lack of upload in employment letter from new employer be a showstopper and I might end up getting re-evaluated from scratch or rejected instead?

^ You think too much.
Can’t upload documents means ICA does not need anything from you anymore.
They will base the application on what you submitted aka your old job.
If you’re kan chiong just email them your new job’s employment letter and first month payslip.
If PR approved, they mostly want to see physical copies of what you uploaded. For new job, just bring your employment letter & first payslip. If you emailed ICA about the job update, you can print that email.
Also doesn’t hurt to bring the old job’s acknowledgement that you resigned to prove you were indeed an employee in the old job.

Hi All,
This thread is extremely helpful . I submitted my application on April 12, proceed to upload went missing in the ICA website by August 13 and I got the results by August 22. Unfortunately it was rejected
If anyone is curious about my profile,
Age : 28
Nationality : Indian (Negative I know

..
Occupation : Research engineer (Robotics) in one of the main public universities in SG
Salary : Average (56K)
Education : MS in Engineering
Length of stay : 3.5 years at time of application
Though my salary was average, I was hoping that due to my achievements/contributions in my area (numerous patents, publications at top journals), I may have a chance.. Unfortunately, it was not
As correctly pointed out by a moderator in this thread, race and ethnicity plays a huge part in the application more than anything else and government may have a quota. My friends and colleagues who have similarish profile to mine were approved for PR recently. Unfortunately I don't know what to do and how to improve my profile further.. quite heartbroken
I have found jobs offer with good increments (80,000 SGD) in some engineering company. Do you suggest that if I apply again next year with this salary, do I have a chance? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Hello @BoringProgrammer, am under the same job title and preparing my PR application, may I know under which SSOC occupation you submitted your application? I could not find a direct match for SSOC for Research Engineer (AI). Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,
I joined this forum today itself and really appreciate continuous posts on the topic.
I applied for Singapore PR with my family (Total- 4 persons) on 12th Apr 2023 and my button vanished on 12th Aug 2023. Isn't very fast for my case (4 months only)? Based upon forum suggestions- normally if the button is removed so fast- I need to expect a rejection right?
Now another surprise is I was also checking the CPF website aligned to forum discussions. Since 12th aug- status was PR applicant details not found. Somehow just now today i realized 4 persons in the health declaration for millisecond, Is it so and again it shown PR applicant not in DB. Please advise.
Thanks and Regards

This is exactly why we tell all of you to disregard the disappearing button and quit trying to subvert the government in doing their job. I'm pretty damned sure they have a record of every time you log into the CPF site. If they wanted you to play super-spook they would have told you how to do it I think those of you who do this crap, just like the abuse of the contributions/charity/blood donations of 10~15 years ago and then disappeared after getting their PR or SGC. It's now a total waste of time. You are burning your bridges behind you, but now you are trying to set them on fire before you are even approved. Shows me they should look at those people who try to subvert the system as the likelihood of continuing to exhibit those traits will not be looked upon with favour, I'd imagine.

Right. No point trying to game the system - the result will come when it's time.
