We received the PR Approval today ! Thanks to the forum for super tips for checking the status updates.
Congratulations.
We had a similar case. Waited for 16 months.
PTU button was missing from 5th July.
Yesterday night got email from ICA about rejection.
Can you pls share your profile? It would be good reference point for others.
Sorry to hear that, are you planning to reapply?
Yes. After 6 months possibly.

I've never had an issue with jet lag. I've always found just staying up through the night before your flight and not sleeping on the plane until after dinner is served and then sleep till breakfast is served or 1.5 hours before arrival and then just go to bed the time you normally retire, but on the time of your location. I've never had an issue flying either east or west. (and I don't take any stimulants to stay awake either). My normal destination is one where I don't have to reset my watch as it's a 12 hr time difference. Has worked for over 40 years for me.
I can’t sleep well on the plane, and skipping sleep before I go makes jet lag worse for me. The only time I did not get jet lag was on the direct flight to NYC which doesn’t fly east or west.. it flys 18 hours straight over the North Pole.

I understand that the flight operates on 3 routes - there's a polar route, which is what you took, as well as an Atlantic and pacific route.
The actual course that is taken depends on the time of year and weather conditions.

I normally use the semi-polar route that flies via either HK or Jpn then up through Siberia
across/down Alaska/Canada into O'hara. Then a quick 1.5 hr flight down to BWI normally. But the last time I went it was via Houston as I was headed direct to Tampa and not my home state of MD. Didn't like that route but I'm not a big fan of O'hara due to the crowds and timing issues. Don't think I've every seen it slack crowd-wise.

I’ve never seen crowds slack either, I think it was the timing - my flight arrived early in the morning and left late at night, normally it’s the opposite. One thing I have to say, O’hare has improved over the years. It is still gargantuan and crowded most times, but I no longer use the word “dread” to describe going through it.

O'hare is always a crowded mess but that's to be expected from Chicago. JFK is worse.

I agree that it's improved, but I wouldn't say I no longer dread it. Still, crowd management has gotten better.

One key improvement was the addition of a land transportation terminal - logistically, it’s like another airport terminal, but operationally, it’s an integrated parking and rental car facility with all rental cars available on site, no need to catch a shuttle off site to get your car.
I noticed LAX had a new land transport terminal under construction when I was there in December… and wow, is it needed badly, traffic in and out of LAX is truly horrendous, can easily can take 30-45 minutes just to get in or out of there.

Hello All,
This is my first post and i came here after searching for keywords : "Missing Upload Documents Button".
Unfortunately in my case the button was missing from last week. I observed it on 24th June 2023.
Now the problem i have is that, I realized the Copy of Passes (EP) for my Spouse which i have provided is a old and expired one. When applying i was able to scan the back of card, but now am not able to scan as it tells its expired.
I had to provide a new EP copy but the button is missing.
Is there any thing i could do ?
And will i pay a huge price for this mistake ?
I have been waiting for the result from past 8 months now and am certainly suffering from inside for making such a silly mistake.
I did send the ICA an email, not sure if they will amend the details.
Is there any thing i could do ?

EP cards do not have expiry dates on them, and old EP cards have to be returned when new ones are issued. How is it that you still have old EP in your possession?
Putting that aside, the ICA is making their decision based on the information put in the application. The current validity of your current EP can checked online by anyone.
When the button disappears it means they have everything they need to make their decision, nothing more is needed from you. Sending them anything additional at this point is only going to alert them to your sloppy submission - not something you want to highlight at this stage. I would not do anything else. They are not idiots, they know what they are doing.

Thanks for your response.
I had scanned the card and kept it for usage rather than taking a pic every time.
The copy of cards had to be usually shared for loans back in India, for house renewal and many other things.
Unfortunately the scanned card was S-Pass and now she has an EP.
I realized it just yesterday because I had to apply for Malaysia visa and I did take her new card copies to apply because scanning the SPass card is giving me an error in the SGWorkPass App that it's expired.

The FIN does not expire or change when you move from S-pass to EP. They have the FIN, they know what to do with it.
