Thank you
I'd like to be wrong, but .........
Congratulations. This is one of those occasions I like to see. You have something else which we are/were not privy too. We haven't walked in your shoes for the past years but you have done something correct that they are impressed by besides academics & salary. Kids? Maybe, but I'm guessing something else. Again, congratulations. "Power!"
ASEAN passport .. wife has Chinese ancestry ?

Guessing he got married in Singapore with non- Indian Indian , which has helped ?
Chinese ancestry? Unless I'm wrong, he mentioned that she's NOT Chinese. As for ASEAN passport - the Vietnam passport isn't usually very advantageous in Singapore. Must be something else as SMS mentioned.

Thanks, SMS... Besides, I am a regular blood donor for the past few years.
I personally think that you coming here 19 years ago when you were young 20 y.o and continued to live here would have been the main consideration.

Dear all

Seeking for Opinion:
Profile
Nationality: Indian
Age: 39
Marital status: Married
Education: DIPLOMA (IND) + Specialist DIP (SIN)
Length of stay: 18+ Years
Work: Assistant Manager(Semicon)
Salary: ~80K + Bonus
PR application submission: APR 2022
Wife: Not working all the while and Currently a Full-time student_Early Childhood Ed. Teaching Chinese.
(will be graduating soon)
Kids: 1 girl (studying in Local school) + 1Boy (11y and 5y respectively)
Wife and kids are holding DP. ( all three fall under the other category Asean passport).

The current status of the Application is pending and the upload button was missing (a week ago).

What are our chances?
Kindly advice. Thanks.
May have a chance, so odds are not great. Main issues are race and salary. Your length of stay in Singapore, as well as the fact that you have kids, including a boy, help you.
Our PR has been approved :) :)
Wow, congrats!

For all applicants who applied & rejected, how long does it still show up on your myICA?
I applied for PR and was rejected last year, but when I login to check, I cannot see my past application status (rejected)? Anyone else encountered this before?

Why do you need to see this? You've already been rejected. Do you want to relive the pain?

Ica follows up with a snail mail to confirm that applicant hasn’t misread the outcome 😂

On side note ..
After nearly 14 months of wait and probably my 6th attempt .. my upload documents button has gone missing since last week

Haha yes. Reminds me of the time when I was in college/giving competitive exams and would get butterflies / anxiety while logging in to check result 😂

Survived those and will survive this also I suppose. Can’t do anything now to change profile.

Will update the forum once I have result .

Hi Guys,

good day!

would like to understand your thoughts on my PR application status.

Profile
Nationality: Indian, Tamil
Age: 36
Marital status: Married
Education: BSC, MBA
Length of stay: 13 years
Work: Sales, Client Partner ( IT)
Salary: 120k + 20-30k bonus
Wife: Indian, tamil. 31 yrs old, BE, IT Automation testing - 80k
Kids: 1 boy (turning 7) Studies in International School

i have plans to start my own IT business in singapore.

Have been applying PR 3-4 times consecutively post rejections, my rejections were at exactly 12 months for my second and third attempt.

this is my fourth attempt, Applied on August mid 2021 and its exactly 20 months now.

there was an additional information request about 8 months ago, Details on my family and my in-law, their work and occupation background.

not sure of the upload button missing, happened to me as well this month, but that could be standard feature taken away from all applicants.

So, what are my chances? thoughts bros?

Thanks
