Wait two years, reapply ONLY IF your circumstances have greatly changed. e.g., 20% increases in Salary, change of position (better), Marriage to a Singaporean or PR.

If you are in IT, then you should already know that the same data in will deliver the same result out.

Hi all, just a quick question in case anyone has noticed. Is it true that the “proceed to upload button” generally goes missing at midnight?

My wife and kids’ applcation is going on 8 months now. I know it’s not healthy for my sanity but I’ve been checking the enquiry page multiple times a day hoping it finally goes missing 😅

For your sanity, just check the application status once a month.

Only when the button disappears, then feel free to check once a day or once a week.

Not sure about the button missing timing, but in general the ICA seems to update it's scheduled jobs at midnight. For instance, the appointment booking generally gets refreshed at that time. That's when canceled appointments are updated and become available.

Indeed keep telling myself this, but can’t help it. Will certainly try!

Yes the approval usually comes post 12am . This is when ICA does their bulk update / run their batch jobs.

If your button disappears - it’s likely your outcome will be out within a few days. Check after midnight as per the earlier point above

What difference does it make? Whatever happens happens.

I believe it's unintentional, and has more to do with the way the system works.

Not always, could just mean that they've collected all that they need to know. Though generally, yes, the decision tends to come soon after.

Your answer may come soon, but until then don't stress yourself out. Best of luck.

That's what I just stated. By the way, schedules such as these are quite intentional. Also, IT teams don't decide schedules - those come from "business" users.
