2 Years and 1 Month on Current EP. Business Development Manager in a leading IT Company.
1 Year on Student Pass while doing my Post Grad at a Local Uni.
10+ Years on DP while growing up and schooling here.
Both of your parents were EP (or EP-DP) when you were a kid growing up and schooling here?

Only my Dad was on an EP. Mum, Sibling and Me on DP. After I turned 21, I was on a Student Pass for Post Grad Studies.

Hi All,

I have been following this forum for more than 10 years, it is indeed useful and very informative for me.

Below is our profile, the journey we went through, for your reference purpose.

Main Applicant: Husband
Age: 41
Race: Chinese
Nationality: Myanmar
Years in Singapore: 15 years (Since 2007)
Pass: EP
Role: Senior Delivery Manager / IT Delivery Team Lead
Qualification: B.Sc (Hons) Computing and Information Systems – UK, B.Arch – YTU - Myanmar
Salary: 160k+ (17 years Experiences in IT)
Prof Certifications – PMP, CSM, ACSM

Dependent Applicant: Wife
Age: 37
Race: Chinese
Years in Singapore - 12 years (Since 2010)

Salary: Not applicable

Child #1 with DP pass
Daughter, Myanmar Nationality, 9 years old born in Myanmar and studying Primary 3 at Government School in SG.

Child #2 with DP pass
Son, Myanmar Nationality, 3 years old born in Singapore.
I had a single individual attempt in the late 2008 which is before marriage and unfortunately it is failed. After Marriage (from 2010), we applied 4 times and all those attempts touched down with failures.

In the last year 2021, we applied PR application again as our 6th attempt and finally it is successful. We got the PR approval for the entire family.

Application submitted: 8th Sep 2021
ICA sent email and asked for the last 2 months pay slips: 5th July 2022
Uploaded the required documents for pay slips: 6th July 2022
Upload documents button disappeared (pending status): 11th July 2022
Status changed to approved: 17 July 2022
IPA letter received at mailbox: 19th July 2022 (IPA letter stated: approved on 14th July 2022)

The differences between my 5th attempt and last attempt are as below.
1. Newly added family member who is my boy born in Singapore
2. Annual salary is increased 50% (SGD 80 K to 160 K) due to promotions
3. Daughter passed AEIS and got the entrance at the government school for the Primary 2

Good luck guys and Cheers!

Hi All..

I have submitted my PR application on Feb 11, 2022.
I did not check the status every single day, just once a while to check.
When i checked it yesterday morning, apparently my "Proceed to upload documents" was gone.
I knew that the result must be out soon, either approved or rejected.
I have checked to try re-apply for PR application again, but it's not allowing me to apply because I have a pending application. I was happy since they said the chance is higher to be approved.

But some said to check the CPF website and try to declare the Health there, and we will be able to see the ePR reference number and can fill in the form. Unfortunately, I cannot do that. It is said that only Permanent Resident is allowed to apply.

Now, i worry about the result and waiting for the letter to come. Finger crossed and wish me luck!

Thank you

Sometimes, not waiting patiently and doing reverse engineering on systems that you are not allowed to access till a certain time may land you in trouble. I would request you to wait patiently for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Yes, I am now doing nothing about that.. I didn't check about all the "signs" that people are saying that it's gonna be approved/rejected, so i am just checking from the portal for the status and waiting the letter from ICA to come (hopefully soon and positive result).
I will update again soon when the result is out.
Thank you!

Hi All,

I just want to update about my PR application.
My PR has been approved (Thanks God) on 6th Oct.
But I can see it on the system on 10th Oct, and i received the letter today!

My Timeline:
11 Feb 2022: submit PR application
4 Oct 2022: Supporting Document button is missing, status is still Pending (but i am not sure when the button is gone, because i did not really check the status very often)
10 Oct 2022: status is changed to "Approved"
11 Oct 2022: received the letter from ICA

Good luck for all who are going to apply for PR or still in progress!

Thanks,

You probably need to put a disclaimer. Or else some folks are going to believe that the disappearance of the button portends approval.

Oh yes, right! I am so sorry about that!
Yeah this button was disappeared does not mean that the result will be positive.
Back then in 2020, i have applied the PR as well, the button was gone but at that time my application was rejected within 4 months. So well, as what many people said in here, just be patient and do not do any reckless action in Gov website. Cheers!
