Cancellation of E Pass

Post by who011 » Mon, 01 Feb 2021 12:34 pm

Hi Experts,

Checking on behalf for friend.

1. If my friend cancelled his E pass in Singapore and he's only allow to stay in Singapore for 30days?
2. Is he allow to extend his stay more than 30days while job hunting? ( If he not able to find any job within 30days)
3. Any other ways he could remain in Singapore more than 30days?

Hopefully to get some input from all the experts here.

Nope. Has to leave unless special request is granted. If not requested or not granted, you can be whacked for overstaying your visa. Then you will be deported (when allowable) and not allowed to return, but you will at least have government lodging (prison) for overstaying. My advice? Don't Play-play with ICA.
