IPA Letter approved, new EP application

Hello friends,

My company renewed my S Pass last week. I received the IPA letter.

Another company offered me a job and I accepted it. Now, the company is proceeding to apply for my EP. (They know I hold an IPA letter)

Can they apply for a new EP, when I am currently holding an IPA letter?

No, the other employer has to withdraw before the new employer can apply.

Also, anecdotal evidence suggests they take a dim view of anyone pulling this type of stunt, so unless it is REALLY worth the risk and trouble, I would highly suggest sticking with the first employer for the time being.
