PEP from abroad-Meeting yearly salary requirement

Hi All,

I am looking to apply for PEP from abroad and my fixed salary is above the 18K threshold, if i get my PEP issued by August does that mean i have only 4 months this year to meet 144k salary requirement? Or does the requirement start from time i start new job: might be Jan next year. Any insight would be appreciated as I couldn’t find the answer elsewhere.
