Hello,

Can anyone suggest how to indicate monthly salary of previous job outside Singapore in India, conversion rate to be used to indicate in SGD.

Can we mention it in rough or in specific. I don't find a place to mentioned conversation rate used in PR application.

I don't think it matters that much to be extremely accurate. Obviously, you can't double your salary, but at least quite near is good enough. Approximation is what I did based on what I know was the rough exchange rate back then.

Just go to https://www.xe.com/currencytables/ and look up the conversion rates India : Singapore for the end of year in question. Eazy-peazy. No need to note it as if they want to question, you will already have the data in your records and can be supported by the link provided. Or you can take the rate on the first day of the year and the last day of the year or the end rates of each month of the year and then average them to find the rate to use for the year. Keep the data in a safe place with your copy of your application. No sweat. Been doing similar for my US taxes for the last 38 years here.
