Thanks for your time. I have been reading your posts regularly. You guys are doing great job.
You may stay and reapply after 1-2 years if you are Ok. Likely the quota.marouen19 wrote: ↑Sat, 17 Jul 2021 2:01 pmHi,
I have just received a PR rejection letter and need to vent a bit.
We've submitted 4 months ago.
I am Tunisian, been working in Singapore for 10 years in IT. Salary 160k+Bonus. masters degree from top French school.
My wife is Australian, also working as a Vet Doctor for 10 years. Double masters from top Australia school.
And with two kids a son and a daughter 4 &2 years old.
I really thought we would get approved as there is really nothing else that we can add to our profile to make it more attractive.
Other than a roll of dice or race based quota, I don't understand why our application is rejected.
Our last application attempt was 5 years ago. Pre-kids.
Does this mean that we will never be accepted as PR?
We really made Singapore our home, and this feels like a punch in the gut.
Is it time to move out of Singapore?
Good chance after you finish your MBA.sarankpy wrote: ↑Sat, 17 Jul 2021 2:14 pmHi All,

Based on recent trends, applying after 1 year of marriage should mostly be Ok. It used to be 2 years after marriage before. Recently seen approvals after or less than 1 year of marriage too.thepoppingone wrote: ↑Sat, 17 Jul 2021 7:22 pmHi everyone,

I am wondering if I should apply PR for her on our 2nd year anniversary this year or do the PR application in parallel with her LTVP renewal next year. Her SG work probably will only officially start next year. I understand I just changed my job and probably should wait a bit.
Just wanted to check if our odds are high!
