Adding a data point here.

Profile:
Nationality: India (30M, 27 F, 2 year old kid born in SG)
Education: Both of us Post Grad, I am PostGrad from NTU with PEB Gold Medal.
Salary - 100K & 60K
Occupation - Automation Engineer in medical device industry(myself) & Software Engg - Fintech (my wife)
3 international patents.
Time in SG - 8.5 years

Applied 3rd time in Feb 2021 and got rejection in Nov 2021. We have decided to leave SG as we didn't want to gamble on the PR lottery considering we are from the 'I' category.

That's quite a decisive move. Good luck to you. Where are you planning to move to?

Wise decision and agree PR here is lottery to a great extent. Your industry seems to be having great future in Canada and Germany.

Probably Canada or Australia. I have enough points (immigration score) based on the latest cutoff for PR invites.

You have age and education on your side to move to Canada/Australia under their immigration program. If you've made up your mind to leave SG, it is better to move asap so that you integrate well into the culture early in your life.

Nice, I’d personally go with Canada, but that’s just me. Best of luck to you.

Salary is good, race has a good quota, education is good as well. Length of stay in SG is a bit on the shorter side though, should have a good chance.

True, the sooner you leave, the quicker you integrate and find your new home.

If I recall correctly, they will only know about your salary and your tax details because you declare that info /consent to share with them.
If they really want, they can pay and get your credit score too.
How would they do that?

US Born Chinese
Single father with 8 month old boy
Been in SG since 2016
Age 36
Salary 200k/annum, bonus/stock varies
American CPA (not under the CICA here), in the renewables energy sector for a billion dollar MNC listed on the NASDAQ.

Planning to apply with my little boy but wanted to wait til the Pandemic was over first? I've been rejected twice already before he was born. Figured I need to settle so it's either here, or if I get rejected, then back to USA as last straw, but stability is what I need right now as he gets older and this E-Pass thing is not what I would call stable.

Any help appreciated on probability, factors to influence / improve, etc. I believe we can definitely contribute but seems tough based on the history, and single dads perhaps are frowned upon
Not going to be easy, but you can still try
Reason is they would want to give PR for those who will convert to SC in future.
They know for sure you will not take up SC renouncing your USA Passport.
Well, saverin did. Although he earns a few hundred x more/yr.
Can’t compare to him, he’s in an entirely different ball park.
